It’s definitely some kind of coastal down but it looks very mountainous in the background, so I’m thinking it’s going to be very focused on nature and fishing and all of that super fun stuff. I am so excited about this new world! It looks beautiful. While I hate the idea of having to put any pets, even virtual ones, to sleep, I think that having the veterinarian career would be really fun in The Sims 4! It seems like a cool mix between the Doctor career and owning a restaurant from the Dine Out pack, which is neat! This is a first for The Sims series, and I’m very excited to try it out! New World: Brindleton Bay That’s right! Not only do our pets get collars (just like always), now we can put them in CLOTHES! I can’t tell you how excited I am! All of the clothes look so adorable. I do know, however, that there are two new animals being added to the game: raccoons and foxes! Look at this absolutely adorable The Fox and The Hound reference!īut could there be more animals on the way? I was a little disappointed that horses would not be added into The Sims 4 because I absolutely loved that they were in The Sims 3 however, in an interview, Grant Rodiek did say that horses were “definitely something thinking about” and that they “have a lot of different packs” still in planning, so that’s some potentially exciting news! Watch that here: Pet Clothes WHAT A DAPPER YOUNG MAN! I LOVE HIM! I am unsure if any smaller animals (birds, rodents, etc.) will be added into the game, which does make me a little nervous. The color wheel is available for cats and dogs only (super unfortunate, but beggars can’t be choosers I guess), and you can use stamps and patterns and all sorts of tools to make your pet look just as unique as you are. Create-A-Pet Just Got BetterĮven though Create-A-Sim in The Sims 4 is pretty great, The Sims 4: Cats and Dogs Create-A-Pet blows it, and every previous iteration of The Sims character creation, out of the water. I think it will add a fun and interesting layer of gameplay that The Sims 4 has been sorely lacking. At first I was a little peeved to hear that, but then the more I thought about it and the more I read, the more sense it made. Obviously the most important part of this pack is that pets will now be added into The Sims 4. Just kidding! This expansion looks great so far, and I can’t wait to dig into all of the great stuff they’re adding. What will be coming with this new expansion?
This expansion looks absolutely incredible and I will be getting it as soon as I possibly can. I am super, super, super excited to see that The Sims 4 will be getting pets and cannot wait to see what everyone does with them. Surprise!
